Q:Can the hooks be placed sturdy in the front bar?
A:The hooks are designed to fit the back bar, which is slimmer and straight, whereas the front bar is thicker and more like a rounded pole. However, I imagine that if you were to hang the hooks upside down from the front pole, it could work that way? The whole item is very sturdy, including the hooks.
