A:The distance between the floor and the bottom shelf when the feet are not attached is 8 cm. The height of the feet is about 1-2 cm.

Q:What tools are needed for assembly, anything that is not provided in the assembly kit?
A:It comes with a small screwdriver, this is all that’s needed to assemble the desk.

Q:What are the shelf measurements and maximum weight?
A:59cm x 23.5cm. No idea of the maximum weight.

Q:Suitable for the clamp style monitor mount / arm? I know some desks are semi hollow and can't take the weight on a single point.
A:I would say yes. Depending on the dimensions of the clamp. The wooden parts of the table are solid. The metal frame is hollow, but if you look at this picture of my desk, you'll see I was able to clamp a daylight hobby lamp to mine, which is really quite heavy. Comparable in weight to a 15 inch monitor. Never had an issue of slipping etc.

Q:Dont suppose anyone has used this with a sewing machine? If so does it rattle when you sew at speed.
A:Well what I can tell you is it is solid because of the metal frame takes two people to move it so a sewing machine should be fine plus it's a lovely piece of rustic furniture
